Freedom, Ethics and AI in Research

EIMAD’26 explores the impact of artificial intelligence on artistic creation and scientific research, highlighting the importance of academic freedom, ethics and social responsibility in design, music and the arts.

EIMAD — International Meeting of Research in Music, Arts and Design is a scientific conference, introduced in 2011, dedicated to research in the areas of design, music and arts, including transdisciplinary approaches, taking place at the Escola Superior de Artes Aplicadas of the Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco, Portugal.

 

Articles are evaluated through a double-blind peer review process, following submissions to an open call for papers. The evaluation of submissions is done by the Scientific Committee, PhD holders with external and international affiliation, within the areas of EIMAD.

 

EIMAD is committed to the Sustainable Development Goals (Agenda 2030) established by the United Nations General Assembly and the values of the New European Bauhaus, promoted by the European Commission.

Registration

Participation as author or audience requires registration and corresponding payment.
For papers and posters, at least one author must register for each accepted paper. Registration of an author is valid only for a single paper or poster and a different author must be registered for each extra paper.
