ARTICLE EVALUATION AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

EVALUATION PROCESS
Papers and posters (submissions) will be appreciated by the Scientific Committee, in Double-blind peer review system.
The Double-blind peer review system is a process whereby two or more members of the EIMAD Scientific Committee anonymously evaluate the paper / poster, ie without knowing the author’s identity. The Commission makes a qualitative assessment, which may include recommendations for improvement, subsequently sent to the author and which should be considered. Accepted articles / posters will be included in the EIMAD program for public presentation and publication in the abstract book, provided that the author is registered for the event.
Submissions may be approved without improvement, approved conditional upon the introduction of improvements, or rejected.

PAPER ORAL PRESENTATION
There will be no verbal or written translation of oral communications during EIMAD.
The presentation of the article implies the registration of at least one author. The second or third article implies the registration of more authors.
Articles are submitted by one author only and have a maximum duration of 10 minutes, including time for questions.
Communication support (PPT, PDF, etc.) must be in English, although the oral presentation may be in Portuguese, English or Spanish.
The article communication may include a performative component and may have a maximum duration of 20 minutes.
Prior to EIMAD, authors will be asked to send the presentation file (powerpoint or .pdf according to the template shown). No files will be accepted on the day of the event.
The registration of an author gives the right to present one paper.

Presentations can be in English, Portuguese or Spanish, and PowerPoint must always be in English.
